Could This be a Sign of Things to Come?

NBC has put production of the Jimmy Smits law drama Outlaw on production hiatus. This comes after the last two episodes earned 1.0 and 1.1 ratings. The show will continue to air the remaining produced episodes and if ratings hit a uptick production could resume.

After averaging extremely low ratings in its 1st two weeks the 3.2 million airing last night put the nail in the coffin. Lie to Me* which was not expected to begin its 3rd season until later this year, will take over the 9pm slot next week.
