Merchant of Venice Delays Press Opening.

The recent Broadway revival of The Merchant of Venice, starring Al Pacino has postponed its official press opening night. Due to cast member Lily Rabe, who plays Portia, dealing with family issues she has missed several performances last week and is expected to miss several more this week. Due to this the press opening night which was scheduled for November 7th has now been postponed so that critics have the opportunity to review the complete production with its full cast, a new date has yet to be announced but the opening night party will still go on as planned on November 7th.
